Patrick J. Foran to chair board of the Cape Cod & Islands Chapter of the American Red Cross

New director to begin July 1st

The Cape Cod and Islands Chapter of the American Red Cross is pleased to announce that Patrick J. Foran of Yarmouth will chair the chapter's board of directors starting July 1st, and was installed during the Annual Membership Meeting in June.

“Especially with the most recent tornadoes in our own back yard, and the continued readiness of our local volunteers with the search and rescue effort in Hyannis, I saw how the American Red Cross impacts every resident of Cape Cod and the Islands and I am proud to be a major supporter through my time and efforts.  I’ve always believed in helping our local community. The Red Cross continues to be innovative, while continuing its basic values, which fits me to a tee," Foran said.

Patrick J. Foran is a graduate of Cape Cod Academy and Assumption College where he earned a BA in Politics.  Patrick is the President and Founder of Foran Realty, Inc, in Dennis.  He holds a Real Estate Brokers License as well as a Life Accident and Health Insurance Brokers License in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  He is also Vice President of Finance & Operations  for EBS Foran Insurance and Advisory Services, Inc., a family-owned Employee Benefit Consulting Company.

Patrick joined the American Red Cross, Cape Cod and Islands Chapter board in July of 2009. He was most recently the Chairman of the Town of Yarmouth Finance Committee.  He is a past President of the Harwich Dennis Rotary Club, a past member of the Board of Directors of the Harwich Dennis Rotary Club, a Paul Harris Fellowship recipient, former member of the Board of Directors of Dream Day on Cape Cod, a member of the Assumption College Presidents Council.
