Lego gun lands Hyannis 5-year-old in hot water

Hyannis-West student threatened with suspension

Fox Boston reports that a 5-year-old Hyannis-West Elementary has landed himself in hot water with the school--all over a toy gun.  According to Joseph Cardosa's parents, the boy has been warned for "using toys inappropriately" and if a second warning is issued, he will be suspended from the program for two weeks.

Cardosa's crime? He built a gun out of Legos during an after school program, according to Fox Boston.

"It's not like he's designing a machine gun," the boy's father told Fox Boston.

After school and library sponsored Lego building programs and clubs are popular across the Cape.
