Big increase in gun permits: statewide increase 27-percent in past four years

Falmouth, Barnstable lead the increases here with 70-percent and 40-percent increase

A month ago a White Plains, NY newspaper printed the names and locations of every gun permit-holder in the area.

Now the Patriot-Ledger has gone half way there by printing the number of gun permits by town and Cape Cod is half the total for the state.
