WEST YARMOUTH - A 7:30 p.m. drug raid last Thursday landed two Beach Road residents in jail. According to Yarmouth police, their narcotics division obtained a search warrant for 17 Beach Road in West Yarmouth following an investigation into the distribution of illegal drugs.
The day after Valentine's officers entered the home and arrested the two 24-year-old residents, Matthew R. Donoghue and Courtney A. Greer.
During the search, officers seized unknown quantities of heroin and cocaine, drug distribution materials and $916 in cash, police said.
The pair were transported to the Yarmouth Police Station where they were booked and charged with felony possession of a Class A drug (heroin) with intent to distribute, felony possession of a Class C drug (cocaine) with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug laws. Both were arraigned in Barnstable District Court on Friday.
