BOSTON - A Boston man was arrested and arraigned last week on rape charges following an incident alleged to have occurred in Provincetown. According to a Provincetown police release, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for John James McNulty, 52, of Boston on June 12 and placed McNulty under arrest at his Boston home with the assistance of the Boston Police Street Crimes Unit.
A search warrant obtained by Provincetown detectives was also executed at McNulty's Boston home, police said.
McNulty was arraigned in Orleans District Court on June 13 on charges of rape, indecent assault and battery and distribution of a Class B substance. He pleaded not guilty to all charges.
