Body found on Barnstable's Sandy Neck identified

UPDATE: Police have identified the body found  as Centerville resident Michael Klun, who apparently had a heart attack. According to police, Klun called a friend early Saturday morning and said he had chest pains. When the friend arrived around 6:03 a.m., he found the body next to Klun's boat that had been grounded on a sandbar in Barnstable Harbor.

BARNSTABLE - Members of the Barnstable Fire Department assisted in the recovery of a body found on a sandbar off Sandy Neck near Barnstable Harbor Saturday morning.  The body was discovered around 6 a.m.

Authorities have yet to make an identification.

Barnstable and State Police are investigating.
