Beginning Tuesday, October 22 at 8 a.m., the Sagamore Bridge will be down to two lanes. According to a release from the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), travel will be restricted to one lane in each direction for several weeks.

The restrictions will be in effect Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., according to the USACE. All four lanes will be open in the evenings and on the weekends.

During the lane closure period, maintenance work will be performed on the bridge above the roadway.

The USACE did not give an end date for the lane restrictions.
