YARMOUTH - Yarmouth police have released a still from in-store video of the masked man who robbed a Yarmouth Port convenience store at gunpoint Tuesday night.

Police are hoping someone will recognize the suspect and call the department. The man is considered armed and dangerous. 

A cash reward is being offered to the first person who provides information that leads to the successful prosecution of the suspect, police said in a follow up release.

Just after 8 p.m. Tuesday night, an armed and masked man entered the Yarmouth Port Village Store on Route 6A.

The clerk described the man as white, around 5'10" and heavy-set. He was reportedly wearing a ski mask and was armed with a handgun.

Anyone with information about the robbery or the suspect is asked to call Det. Stephen Renzi at 508-775-0445 ext. 2118.
