Mashpee posts school budget on website

Superintendent Hyde responds immediately to “oversight”

This morning CapeCodToday.com received a gracious note from Mashpee Superintendent of Schools Brian Hyde. Mr. Hyde wrote the following:

“The FY Mashpee Public School Budget is now front and center on our school website. Thank you, sincerely, for raising our awareness of this oversight. I was surprised as you that it was not posted!”

The public may view the Mashpee FY2015 school budget here.

Mr. Hyde’s response followed our February 21st editorial about transparency in school budgeting.

CapeCodToday.com will post notices when other Cape school districts inform us that they have added FY2015 budgets to their websites.

Editor’s Note: Superintendent Hyde is always among the first - often the very first - of the Cape’s superintendents to respond to our queries about various education topics that CapeCodToday.com covers.
