NOTICE OF PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL MEETING

A Public Informational Meeting will be held by MassDOT to discuss the ongoing Cape Cod Canal Area Transportation Study which involves regional transportation needs for the Cape Cod Canal area, and particularly the communities of Bourne, Sandwich, Plymouth, and Wareham.

WHERE:  Admirals Hall, Academy Drive, Massachusetts Maritime Academy Campus, Buzzards Bay, MA [Directional signs will be posted]

WHEN: Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 7 p.m.

PURPOSE: The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public with information about the recently initiated Cape Cod Canal Area Transportation Study. All views and comments made at the meeting will be noted, reviewed and considered to the fullest extent possible.

PROPOSAL: The planning study will evaluate a number of potential improvements to multi-modal mobility along the Cape Cod Canal and adjacent areas. Potential locations for a new bridge crossing of the Cape Cod Canal will also be evaluated as part of this study.

Written statements and other exhibits in place of, or in addition to, oral statements made at the Public Meeting regarding the proposed undertaking are to be submitted to David Mohler, Executive Director, Office of Transportation Planning, MassDOT, Suite 4150, 10 Park Plaza, Boston, MA 02116, Attention: Ethan Britland, Project Manager. Such submissions will also be accepted at the meeting. Study inquiries may be emailed to [email protected]
