League of Women Voters of Falmouth to host conversation with Vieira & Madden on Mar. 19

Public invited to come and speak with Upper Cape state reps

On Thursday, March 19 at 7:30 p.m. the League of Women Voters of Falmouth will host an informal public conservation at the Falmouth Public Library on Main Street.

State Representatives David T. Vieira (R-East Falmouth) and Timothy R. Madden (D-Nantucket) are both scheduled to participate in the conservation. Vieira represents the 3rd Barnstable District consisting of Bourne Precincts 3, 4, 5, 6; Falmouth Precincts 3, 4, 7, 8, 9 and Mashpee. He is on the Joint Committee on Rules, the Joint Committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security, the House Committee on Rules and the House Committee on Bonding, Capital Expenditures and State Assets. 

Madden represents Barnstable (Precincts 1, 2, 5, 6), Dukes County and Nantucket County. He is a member of the Joint Committee on Ways and Means, the Joint Committee on Financial Services, the Joint Committee on Transportation, the House Committee on Ways and Means and the vice chair of the House Committee on Bills in the Third Reading. 

Constituents are encouraged to attend the conversation and share their thoughts and concerns about current legislative bills.
