Shopfunding for Cape Cod: Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod

Incentives, donations from three different stores

Shopfunding for Cape Cod.  This week’s spotlight:  Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod

In 1989, Dick and Soule saw their dream come true as the last hammer hit the last nail and the door of their first volunteer-built house was ready to have a family move in.  Just one year earlier they founded Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod and from day one it was clear they were bringing much needed help and love to the Cape Cod communities.

In the early days, it was not easy, but the Soules and their supporters were fueled by a strong determination that this could work.  Land was hard to find, homes were hard to build, but that didn't’ stop this team.  Since then, all 15 towns have generously donated land for homes and the organization has built at least one home in every town on the Cape.

This week, we are celebrating the work they do for those in need.  Please help this organization continue to build homes for these very deserving families by joining their shopfunding campaign.   Here are some of the stores offering deals and donating a portion of what you spend back to the cause:

  • Harry & David:  Free shipping  and 3.5% of your purchase is donated to the cause.
  • Old Navy:  30% off your order and 2.5% of what you spend will be automatically given to fund the homes
  • Clinique:  20% off of gift sets and 4% of your sale will go to Habitat for Humanity
