Second Barnstable State Representative Will Crocker has been given three key committee assignments for the 190th Legislative Session from leadership.
Crocker will be serving on the Tourism, Arts & Cultural Development Committee, Mental Health, Substance Use & Recovery Committee, as well as the Children, Families, & Persons with Disabilities Committee.
“These are three committee assignments that I requested from leadership and I am very pleased to have received them. I believe they deal with very important issues in the district, those being homelessness, opioid addiction, tourism and the arts.”
“Representative Crocker has been a member of the House of Representatives for less than two months, but he has a long record of public service that dates back more than two decades,” said House Minority Leader Bradley H. Jones, Jr. (R-North Reading). “I am confident he will hit the ground running with his new committee assignments and will be a strong advocate for the residents of the Second Barnstable District.”
Crocker says he is gratified with the assignments as well as the faith the leadership has in him and looks forward to moving those issues ahead in the legislature.
