P-Town Library "Goes to the Dogs" on July 1st

Library hosts "Super Classy Dog Show" event

The Provincetown Public Library has gone to the dogs!

The Library will be opening its doors (and its lawn) for a special event for all of the lovable canines in your lives on Saturday, July 1 at 1:00 pm.

This free event will bring together numerous local businesses, organizations, and professionals to provide you and your pooch with a variety of fun activities, giveaways, expert talks, and opportunities to connect with other dog lovers.

Designed to be a fun and festive canine-focused event, the Super Classy Dog Show will include:

• Treat tasting stations

• DYI Tug Toy making

• Doggie Kissing booth

• Rehab/Exercises for your pets

• AND MORE . . .

Want to really show off your dog?  Join event coordinators on the front lawn at 2:00 for a small procession and judging event!  Awards and prizes will be presented for various categories.  Owners are encouraged to don their fanciest outfits to give it that classy, Westminster feel.

Participants for the event include The Cape Cod Dog, CASAS, the Provincetown Bark Park, Sadie Hutchings, DVM, of the Herring Cove Animal Hospital, the Provincetown Pet Resort, and Nancy Bishop, CVT and serious agility competitor, of the Cape Animal and Referral Emergency Hospital.

We’d love to see you and your furry, four-legged friend (on leash)!
