"Mandy is back in the building!"  The word spread around Orleans.

One of the sure signs of summer in Orleans is Mandy's Cape Creamery and their ice cream specialties.  Located in the former Friendly's building on the Cape Tradewinds / Cape Escape Adventure Golf campus on Canal Road, Mandy's has been feeding the Lower Cape's sweet tooth since 2006.

Mandy's offers hand-scooped ice cream, traditional soft-serve, flavored soft serve and countless specialty sundaes.  Mandy's is well known for their creative "Nor'easter" blended specialties - our favorite Nor'Easter involves bananas and vanilla wafers...

For traditional tastes, there's nothing better than one of Mandy's sumptuous banana splits.  This feast includes your choice of three scoops of ice cream, toppings, whipped cream and garnishes.  We confess that this reported ate one for lunch Wednesday - and enjoyed soft serve for "dessert". Our customized personal favorite banana split configuration is chocolate, strawberry and chocolate chip ice cream - all smothered in hot cocholate - and topped off with whipped cream, rainbow sprinkles and chocolate jimmies.

Our years of patronizing Mandy's reminds us of their outstanding customer service, upbeat atmosphere and reasonable prices for the entire family.

Mandy's is open daily from noon to 10:30 p.m.
