Latham Centers raises starting wage to $15/hour for direct care professionals

BREWSTER, MASS. – Latham Centers, Inc. will host a Job Fair on Monday, September 25, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at its future campus expansion site at 1439 Main Street (Route 6A), Brewster.  Latham Centers is one of the area’s largest human service employers and a leader in special education and residential treatment of children and adults with disabilities.  Representatives from Human Resources invite job-seekers to drop in at the job fair to learn more about joining Latham’s dynamic team.

Latham Centers is hiring residential counselors, one-to-one counselors, clinicians, and substitutes – including full-time, part-time, and flex-time positions at residential locations throughout Cape Cod.  Latham’s new starting pay rate for direct support professionals is $15 and up, and its benefit package includes excellent health insurance, five weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and a 403(b) retirement plan with up to 5% employer match.  Latham Centers offers meaningful work, competitive compensation, continuous professional development, and opportunities for advancement.  Human services experience and a college degree are not required; Latham provides extensive on-the-job training – career-changers and mature workers are encouraged to apply.
