The principal of Stony Brook Elementary School in Brewster was released on $200 bail after being arraigned on multiple charges Monday in Falmouth District Court.  Mary Patricia Allen was charged with Breaking and Entering a building in the nighttime for a felony and two counts of larceny from a building.

The charges stem from an October 15th incident at a 174 Lowell Road, Mashpee condominium complex where the 60 year old Ms. Allen lives.  Her ex-boyfriend summoned police and accused her of breaking into his apartment and stealing a book along some of the sex toys belonging to him and his current girlfriend.  Police reports indicate that the accusers appeared intoxicated at the time.

Ms. Allen reportedly told police that she did enter the man's apartment through the back door and took some of the sex toys.

Ms. Allen pleaded not guilty to all charges.  She will be back in court November 16th for a pre-trial hearing.

Nauset Superintendent of Schools Thomas Conrad has not yet responded to Cape Cod Today's inquiry as to Ms. Allen's current status with the school district.  The Stony Brook Elementary School website still lists her as principal at the school.  If he responds, we will publish his statement verbatim.
