Three Rescued from Hyannis Port Jetty

Often a scene for rescues...

The Hyannis Port jetty was once again a rescue scene today after became stranded around noon.

The Hyannis Fire District rescue boat was able to recover the trio, who were evaluated at the Hyannis Port Yacht Club. One person was reported to have suffered minor injuries.

The jetty has been the scene of many rescues over the years after walkers become stranded by incoming tides, including more than one instance where Senator Edward M. Kennedy himself assisted the distressed parties.
