The probable cause hearing scheduled today for Thomas Latanowich, charged with murdering Yarmouth Police K9 Sergeant Sean Gannon, was postponed until July 31st. The postponement was requested by the prosecutor, Assistant District Attorney Daniel Higgins.
The defendant's lawyer, Victoria Kelleher, objected to the continuance but it was nevertheless granted by Barnstable District Court Judge Kathryn Hand.
Latanowich is charged with the shooting death of Sgt. Sean Gannon and the shooting of Gannon's K9 partner Nero.
