The Masonic Angels delivered a holiday surprise Thursday morning at Cape Cod Children's Place.  Dozens of toys, children's books and stuffed animals were delivered by Masonic Angel Foundation volunteer Bill Stoeckert a little after 10 a.m.

The items were a last minute donation from Dennis Pietro of Stress Free Estate Services, who had recently liquidated a toy store.  Dennis sent a text to Foundation president Robert Fellows Wednesday at 4 p.m. and arranged to meet after he dropped off some other merchandise to customers on Cape Cod.  "Bring your van, " said Mr. Pietro.  Totes overflowing with books and toys - and an enormous bag of stuffed animals were loaded up at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

First thing Thursday morning, Mr. Stoeckert arrived at MAF headquarters in Orleans - and went directly on to Cape Cod Children's Place with the goodies.

When post-Christmas clearance sales begin, the Masons will be visiting CCCP again - this time with boots and snow pants.
