From the Dennis Police Department...

The Dennis Police Department regrets to announce that we lost one of our DPD family yesterday with the passing of Robert Barry at age 62. Bob, who was the Department’s Maintenance Technician for 17 years, fought a short, but valiant fight with cancer and the Department is deeply saddened by his loss. Bob was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

On any given day at the Dennis Police Department Bob might have been called upon to troubleshoot an issue with the building or one of the vehicles or schedule maintenance appointments with any number of vendors. During the winter Bob would work long hours performing snow removal duties to ensure that the Department could continue to operate as needed. Bob, who became a jack of all trades and an invaluable member of the Dennis PD, will be greatly missed.
