Off to Cape Wildlife Center Monday morning...
A Wareham police officer picked up this injured owl Sunday. It will be taken to Cape Wildlife Center in the morning. (WDNR)

From the Wareham Department of Natural Resources:

Sunday evening WDNR was notified that a Wareham Police Officer found an injured Barred Owl. Officer McGuire responded to the area and was able to collect the owl. No noticeable injuries were visible at the time but the little guy will be spending the evening with us and transported first thing to Cape Wildlife Center where they can hopefully work their caring magic!!
