Inspiring Concert Features Teaching Artists, Merit Scholarship Winners, and the Conservatory Jazz Big Band

West Barnstable, MA-March 14, 2019
In a fundraiser for the Conservatory Scholarship Fund, the Cape Conservatory presents an inspiring concert on Sunday, March 24, 4 PM at its Barnstable campus. The afternoon offers a special opportunity to experience mesmerizing talent in an intimate setting, featuring accomplished Conservatory faculty members including Cape Symphony musicians, Julliard graduates, and musicians with advanced degrees.

Four of the Conservatory’s merit scholarship recipients will also perform, as a testament to the richness of talent cultivated at the Conservatory, as well as the importance of the scholarship fund. Since 2011, the Conservatory has provided merit and need-based scholarships to over 400 students of all ages, across all disciplines of the arts.

The Conservatory Jazz Big Band, under the direction of Tyler Newcomb, will round out the afternoon with a set of big band favorites including a tribute to Nat & Natalie Cole featuring singers Dennis Flaherty and Leslie Boyle.

Tickets are $25 each, or $50 per immediate family of four, available online at or by calling 508-362-2772.
