Job #1 – Assistant Recreation Director – Mid Cape

Full Time: Working under the general supervision of the Director of Community Services, this position plans, organizes, evaluates, and promotes recreational programs for all age groups. Will supervise a staff of 100+ seasonal employees. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a commensurate field, two years of supervisory experience, preferably in a municipal setting, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, & computer skills. Some evening and weekend work required. This is a union position. Salary is $29.22 per hour with excellent benefits. Applications received before May 1, 2019 will be given preference.

Job #2 – Maintenance Mechanic – Upper Cape

Full Time: Responsible for fixing, upkeep and maintaining mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines. Tasks include minor plumbing work, painting, flooring repair and upkeep, general maintenance and heating and air conditioning system maintenance. Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by performing preventive maintenance. Maintain preventive maintenance records on equipment, including data entry of equipment attributes and maintenance of service records. High school diploma or equivalent required, preferably from a trade school. Previous experience in a trade’s environment required. Must have some computer literacy sufficient to perform data entry and retrieval from established programs.
