From The Coalition for Children...

Falmouth -- Saturday’s 3rd Annual Multicultural Fair sponsored by The Coalition for Children featured more than a dozen exhibits featuring food, arts, crafts, books, music, games, and stories from around the world! We made origami from Japan, played the game of shagai (knucklebones) from Mongolia, used an ink brush to learn Chinese calligraphy, and of course sampled a variety of foods from Mexican tortillas to Indian Samosa to Belgian chocolate! We also enjoyed live music throughout the fair from fiddles and bagpipes to dizi (Chinese flute) and ended the event with an all-ages Zumba dance! Many thanks to our local businesses Casa Vallarta Mexican Restaurant, Donde Thiago, Estia, Golden Swan Indian Cuisine, Maison Villatte and North Falmouth Cheese Shop, and all our friends who generously gave their time to share their heritage and celebrate culture with us!
