May Male Scholar Athlete from Monomoy Regional High School

High achiever in both the classroom and on the playing field...

Elijah Beasley of Monomoy Regional High School has been named May Scholar Athlete of the Month. The Junior Midfielder and 3 year Varsity captain leads the team for the month of May in both goals (23) and ground ball wins (27) and is second on the team in assists (19). For the season Beasley has 33 goals, 25 assists, and 38 ground ball wins and is a team leader both on and off the field. Elijah is an original member of the Monomoy Lacrosse Club team and was one of its captains. He also is captain of the Varsity football team and a member of the basketball team.

Elijah also excels in academics with a 3.9 GPA. In addition, Beasley also participates in Key club, is a member of Best Buddies, was invited to the MIAA 25th Sportsmanship Summit at Gillette Stadium, assisted at Special Olympics day, is a Volunteer Coach for Flag football, and assisted in the management of Lacrosse tournament held last June at Monomoy Regional High School.
