Museums on the Greens Hosts “Around the Sound” Cruise

June 11th aboard the Island Queen

Falmouth— The Falmouth Museums on the Green will host its annual “Around the Sound Cruise” aboard the Island Queen on Tuesday, June 11, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.  The two-hour event, which is open to the public, includes music by the Downtown Dixie Strutters and food catered by Atriar Woodbriar.

“We usually set sail in the fall but decided to shake things up with a spring cruise this year,” said Mark Schmidt, the Museums’ Executive Director. “This is a very fun fundraiser. All proceeds benefit the Museums’ education programs.”

Boarding begins at 5:10 p.m.  The boat leaves promptly at 5:30 p.m. (weather permitting). Parking is available at the Island Queen lot, 75 Falmouth Heights Road in Falmouth.

Tickets are $35.  The cost for Museums’ members is $30. Reserve online at museumsonthegreen.org or call 508.548.4857.
