Unresponsive Woman Pulled from Water in Wellfleet

Found floating in Long Pond...

From the Wellfleet Police Department:

On 07/13/2019 at approximately 5:12 PM, the Wellfleet Police Department received a phone call reporting a possible body floating in Long Pond.

Wellfleet Police immediately informed the Wellfleet Fire Department and both departments responded to the area.

Wellfleet Police Officers responded to the area of Kemp Circle in Wellfleet where two swimmers had located an unresponsive 77 year old female from Cambridge.

Wellfleet Police and Fire personnel immediately began performing CPR on this individual and she was subsequently transported to Cape Cod Hospital by the Wellfleet Fire Department with assistance from the Truro Fire Department.
