4C's Invites Community Members to Study Abroad in Belize

An eight-day trip to Belize. Enroll before 9/30 for a $200 scholarship.

Cape Cod Community College is partnering with Education First College Study Tours to offer an 8-day trip to Belize next year, and members of the Cape and Islands communities are welcome to join. As incentive to register early, anybody who enrolls before September 30 is eligible for a $200 scholarship.

The trip will run from May 25 – June 1 of 2020 and costs $3,355 per person, which includes all aspects of travel, including airfare, hotels, meals, entrance tickets, train, tour guides, and insurance.

More than a quarter of the 9,000 square miles that make up Belize are under a carefully managed system of reserves. During the trip, guests will explore biodiversity in the country, and will become familiarized with those reserves. Over the course of eight days, guests will visit and hike through the Belizean jungle, swim in St. Herman’s Blue Hole, bird watch, travel to Punta Gorda to visit the Mayan archaeological site of Nim Li Punit, snorkel in Placencia, and get introduced to the Reef Eco System.

For information on how to register for the trip, contact Cape Cod Community College Professor Amy Clark at [email protected] or visit the study tour website listed by Education First Study Tours.
