Job #1 – DPW Laborer – Upper Cape

Full Time: Town of Sandwich has an opening for a full-time DPW Laborer. Work schedule is M-F, although weekend work may be required. Laborers operate various department vehicles and equipment and perform a wide variety of DPW related tasks such as roadside brushing, paving and drainage work, snow and ice removal, transfer station work and general maintenance and cleanup.  Laborer  work in all types of weather and must be capable of strenuous lifting and physical effort daily.  Candidates 18 years of age and older who are motivated, flexible, hardworking, and have a positive attitude and Demeanor are encouraged to apply.  Road construction experience is required.  Class A Commercial Drivers License is also preferred, however not required for initial hire but must be obtained within one year from the date of hire.  Salary range $22.29 - $24.92 per hour with full benefits.  APPLICATION DEADLINE SEPTEMBER 17, 2019.


Job #2 – Year-round Guest Services Agent – Lower Cape  

Full Time: Guest Services Agents help create that great first impression to the resort guests.  The right candidate for this very important role will be friendly, outgoing, professional, have a positive demeanor and excellent communication skills.  Key Responsibilities: Maintain complete knowledge at all times of hotel features, services, room types, room rates, special promotions, daily house count, room availability, scheduled group activities.  Handle guest complaints in a timely and efficient manner.  Ensure accurate accounts for each guest in accordance with the requirements (i.e. share-with, separate room/tax/incidentals, comp.) Adhere to al cashiering procedures.  Exhibit a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with guests and fellow employees.
