The Hounds upset top-seeded Pace University in the quarterfinals before falling to Saint Anselm College in the semifinals. On Oct. 1, Assumption College Field Hockey was ranked eighth in the latest National Field Hockey Coaches' Association Division II National Coaches' Poll.

"Last year's team showed a lot of determination and grit as they played their way into the Northeast-10 semifinals," said Head Coach Annie Lahey. "We have a talented group of student-athletes and I am confident that we can build upon the successes of last season. Our players have worked hard in the offseason in order to surpass our goals of winning on the field and achieving great success in the classroom."
