Pop-up messages on your computer; suspicious looking emails; risks shopping online;

robo calls; phishing; ‘grandparent’ scams; identity theft.

These are just some of the threats we face every day.

In November 2013. OCF held a well attended forum on ‘Frauds and Scams’. It is time to do it again. The crooks have become a lot smarter. We need to get smarter too. We all need to learn how to protect ourselves. We need to learn how not to become victims. If we are victimized we need to know what to do. Come learn about the latest threats to our security.

Orleans Police Sgt. McLaughlin will provide a review of his experience with frauds, phone and internet scams, and identity thefts. It is a long list. Jennifer Wagner, Store Manager of TD Bank, Orleans, will discuss financial frauds and scams.

Our panel will provide guidelines to help you become more aware of the threats around you. A question and answer session will follow the presentations.

Attend the Frauds, Scams & Identity Theft Forum
