#1 – Childcare Center Supervisor – Lower Cape
Full Time: Responsible for the general and day-to-day operations of a Head Start/Early Head Start center or cluster of outlying centers, covering multiple classrooms, assuring regulatory and legal compliance with federal, state and local regulations, communicating with parents and the community and supervision and monitoring of all staff working at the assigned center(s). Minimum requirement is current CDA credential or EEC Director I certification. Associate's degree or higher in early education, child development or other related education or human service degree with experience working with young children preferred. At least two years of experience working with young children and families required and six (6) months of work experience as a Lead Teacher. One-year supervisory experience preferred. Some experience in financial management and budgeting preferred. Previous Head Start/Early Head Start experience preferred. Ability to meet the state requirement(s) for "site director" required.
#2 – Accountant – Upper Cape
Full Time: Perform a variety of complex accounting tasks, (A/P, A/R, Reconciliations, Fixed Assets Management, Prepaids & Accruals and Journal Entries; Applying accepted procedures to the preparation and maintenance of accounting and other records, and preparing financial, statistical, and/or technical reports. BS./B.A. degree, and 4 years of related experience. Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment and a cost accounting background is a plus. Exceptional computer navigational skills; proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office; Microsoft Excel; ERP Software; Internet Explorer.
