From the Eastham Police Department:

Earlier today at a ceremony at the Eastham Library we said goodbye to our retiring Chief, Ed Kulhawik, and hello to our new Chief, Adam Bohannon.
Chief Kulhawik has been the Chief of our department for the last 10 1/2 years and today marks the end of his illustrious career of almost 40 years in law enforcement! Please join us in wishing Chief Kulhawik a long and happy retirement! Congratulations Chief!

Following Chief Kulhawik’s retirement, Chief Adam Bohannon was sworn in as our department’s sixth Chief of Police. Chief Bohannon was born and raised in Eastham, went through the Nauset School System and started working for the Eastham Police Department as a summer officer in 1997. He was hired full-time in 2001 and has held several titles for the department, including: Animal Control Officer, Court Prosecutor, Detective, Detective Sergeant, and Deputy Chief. Chief Bohannon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a Masters Degree in Public Administration. While our department is sad to see Chief Kulhawik leave, we are excited to begin this new chapter under the leadership of Chief Bohannon.
