DID YOU KNOW: You don’t have to go to a pet store to buy a starter pet, such as a mouse.  You can go to your local animal shelter and rescue one instead.  That’s the message the folks at the MSPCA-Cape Cod in Centerville are sending as they look to place an adorable 11-week-old mouse into a new home.  The mouse, named “F.P.,” is, according to staff, cute as a button and a touch nervous around new people.  But F.P., like most mice, make wonderful first pets for children and families alike, and staffers have lots of tips and tricks to share to help F.P. settle in nicely, and grow more social over time.

Swing by the MSPCA-Cape Cod Adoption Center during open hours or email [email protected] for more information about F.P.!
