Science at Our Shores: Woods Hole Sea Grant Research Symposium

March 6th at 1 p.m.

On Friday, March 6, from 1 p.m. – 4:30 p.m., researchers funded with Sea Grant core funding will give a series of brief presentations describing their efforts to investigate pressing environmental and coastal issues at our shores. PIs funded in 2018 will discuss the results of their research into topics such as the impacts of cranberry agriculture on the watershed, the ecosystem benefits of living shorelines, shoreline resilience, and HABs.  Newly funded PIs will describe the projects just getting underway on microplastics, river herring, white sharks, and seals. The event is free and open to all. Registration is not necessary but would help us anticipate numbers of attendees.  For more information and registration, see
