Federal Hockey League team heads to New York

Runners are encouraged to sign up for the 1st annual Jingle Jog 5K and Elf Run to be held Saturday, December 1 in Falmouth.  Unlike that other famous Falmouth run, you won't be as tuckered out after this festive jog.

Proceeds from this new 5K benefit the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce Holiday Stroll. 

Festive dress is encouraged and there will be jingle bells and t-shirts for all runners and Christmas ornaments for the first 200 registrants and 50 elves.

The Dennis Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring its 6th annual Labor Day 5K Road Race on Sunday, September 4, 2011. The race begins at Johnny Kelley Park at the corner of Bob Crowell Road and Old Bass River Road in South Dennis at 10 a.m.

The race runs from the park down Old Bass River Road and ends at Carleton Hall on Old Bass River in Dennis Village.

Boxing comes to the Hyannis Youth and Community Center March 26th

Known for the action-packed hockey it delivers to the Cape, the Hyannis Youth and Community Center has added a new event to their sports schedule--boxing.  Saturday Night Fights, Round 1, will be held at HYCC on Saturday, March 26 at 7 p.m.

Your Cape Cod Cubs are back in action during a jam-packed three gameweekend!  The Cubs will take on division rivals the Boston Junior Blackhawks on Friday, February 5th at 7:30pm.

Dugas storms way to Island Classic victory
Shoots 6 under par at two-day event at Sankaty Head

NANTUCKET - Eric Dugas, an assistant at Old Sandwich Golf Club in Manomet, stormed the island of Nantucket and captured the annual two-day Cape Cod Chapter of the New England PGA Island Classic late last week, shooting a 6-under-par 138.
