Hyannis Youth & Community Center - August 26-September 1

Summer is winding down and the kids are getting ready to go back to school!  It is a bittersweet time of year when we say goodbye to the leisurely schedule of summertime fun and transition into the more structured school year regimen.  As always, the Hyannis Youth & Communty Ccenter offers something for everyone and we are here to serve both residents and visitors alike with plenty of activities for the whole family!  Click here for a schedule of public activities taking place next week or go to the web site for more details.

The summer sports leagues and camps have all wrapped up this week and now we make way for the return of favorites in September like Miss Lori's Playgroup, Adult Game Room time while the kids are in school and Indoor Pickleball on Monday and Wednesday mornings, starting in October!  There are some new programs being offered like Instructional Pickleball for Beginners and Skills Development at the newly renovated courts in Osterville on Tuesday and Thursday mornings starting September 18th.  Fall Program Registration will take place starting Wednesday, September 5th at 8:45 AM for Barnstable Residents.  Non-Residents can begin signing up on Wednesday, September 12th.  Look for all the programs Barnstable Recreation has to offer and sign up on line here.

We are always interested in hearing from residents and visitors, and invite you to contact us with your comments, suggestions and questions.  You can stop by our offices at the Hyannis Youth & Community Center or reach us by calling 508-790-6345 or email [email protected]
