Okay we are still stepping back in time Along the Breakfast Trail and in South Yarmouth at the 50's style Route 28 Diner. All I needed was my black and white oxford shoes and a little juke box music. The menu is reasonably priced with some good choices and the service is fast, at least when it came to the meal. I would have loved to have my coffee refilled a little faster, as I had to remind my young waitress a few times. And while we are on the subject of coffee, it was a little weak and not as good as some of the other coffee that I had tasted at varies stops Along my Breakfast Trail. I know I have always said that a good coffee makes the breakfast but this weak coffee didn't interfer with my delicious breakfast experience. I decided on the Route28 Plate which included 2 eggs,2 sausage links,2 strips of bacon, homefries and choice of bread. My eggs over easy were cooked to perfection and the bacon was crispy and flavorful. The sausage seemed to be be the precooked kind and the homefries were mildly seasoned but good. Your choice of bread could include a bagel if you wanted and I thought that was a nice addition. All in all its a good stop with good food.
