Along the Breakfast Trail at Keltic Kitchen 2016

Spring is in the air and although the temperature is 36 degress, I know it is just around the corner so it's time to go to Keltic Kitchen in West Yarmouth on Route 28 before the lines get longer. In the summer everyone knows that the food is worth the wait, but the locals find it a great comfortable place to hang out in to get through the cold winter. It is a stop that I make every few weeks  and I am always curious to see the special menu which makes my hard decision even harder. As you quessed the only thing difficult about dining at the Keltic Kitchen is deciding on what to get from their awesome menu. Today I decided on the Chicken and Waffles which was a chicken breast fillet with a flavorful well seasoned bread crumb batter served on top of a round savory blended waffle with two eggs and crispy home fries. It was very good and I believe  a little corriander was in the the bread crumb seasoning and waffles which really married the combo into a great savory taste. One of my friends decided on her stand by favorite of scrambled eggs, bacon, crispy home fries and raisin toast which looked equally as good. And my other friend decided on the 2x4 which was two eggs, two pancakes, two bacon, and black and white pudding which she substituted for sausage which she enjoyed and became the prelude to a shopping trip for us. I love the Keltic Kitchen for their great specials and food, good coffee and awesome service. The only time I cut down on my return visits is during the height of the tourist season but I do believe they are worth the wait and we on Cape are lucky to have them seving up their hearthy breakfast selections all year. Thanks Keltic Kitchen for an awesome breakfast experience.
