Along the Breakfast Trail at The Pancake Man Again

It's spring and we have had enough of Mother Nature's watering and its getting time to get out and about and rediscovered some of the beauty Cape Cod has to offer and we only have so much time, so get out there. The Pancake Man in South Yarmouth is always worth a stop or two along our journey to enjoying good weather and they have never disappointed me as yet. But this morning I was feeling conflicted and needed a little lunch / breakfast combo and they had the answer to my cravings. I decided on their Breakfast Burger which consisted of a 1/4 lb burger grilled to perfection with a sweet savory bacon jam and topped with a medium cooked egg and creamy aged cheddar cheese on a english muffin with crispy home fries. And let me just say that this sandwich was great and the bacon jam had a sweet savory flavored that really made the sandwich come to life. One of my friends decided on a Spinach Omelette with three savory buttermilk pancakes and crispy homefries which satisfied her need for the egg and pancake combo. And my other friend who is the scrambled egg expert enjoyed her choice with home fries and pumpernickle toast. The coffee was delicious and our waitress was awesome and patient with our craziness. My only problem with visiting the Pancake Man is deciding just what to have and I guess that is a good thing because they keep me coming back. Next on my list is their Skillet Breakfast. Thanks Pancake Man.
