Stabbing reported in Hyannis
HYANNIS - One person was rushed to Cape Cod Hospital with what was described as serious stab wounds to the back. Officials responded to a residence on Quaker Road sometime after 10 PM. Barnstable Police say an argument broke out between two teens ages 13 & 19 an their 43-old uncle reportedly over a telephone call. The uncle was allegedly stabbed during the fight. He underwent surgery at CCH and police had tol wait to interview him to see exactly what happened. The 13-year old was arrested by Police on Tuesday and was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Barnstable Juvenile Court. Posted on 8/07 at 12:00 AM updated on 8/09 at 7:30 PM.
Woman injured in fall off horse
WEST BARNSTABLE - A woman was injured after falling off a horse in West Barnstable Sunday afternoon. It happened on Route 149 north of the fire station.
The woman was placed on a backboard and in a collar as a precaution to guard again any spinal injuries. She was taken to Cape Cod Hospital and is expected to recover.

Bicyclist Medflighted after Ptown crash
PROVINCETOWN - A bicyclist was flown to a Boston hospital after his bike crashed in Provincetown. The man was riding on the Provincelands Bike Trail in the Cape Cod National Seashore late Saturday afternoon when the accident occurred.
Sources tell Cape Wide News the man was not wearing a helmet. He was taken to Provincetown Municipal Airport to meet the helicopter.
