Country Garden on West Main Street in Hyannis will be going before site plan review with a proposal for a 90-kilowatt wind generator."We’re using over 200,000 kilowatts annually," said Country Garden treasurer Diana Duffley. "Imagine if 65 to 70 percent of that disappears. Zero emissions to air, zero emissions to water. It’s so guiltless."
Duffley, who traded in her SUV for a gas-electric hybrid, said she "can’t stand" the nation’s dependence on fossil fuel, "the use of dirty coal, the barges through the Canal"...
