Massachusetts State Senator Scott Brown's "Meltdown" in the "Freak Show!"

Brown is not beautiful (but he was in Comos as a "Hunk")

Click his pecs to see the Wonkette slamThis is a great story about how State Senator Scott  Brown, (on right in Cosmo) out of Wrentham and leading candidate for the Massachusetts Republican nomination for U.S. Senate in 2008, had a "meltdown" in front of 80 King Philip's High School students at a student assembly.  Brown had asked to speak to the students because he felt he had been "abused" by student detractors from King's Philip High School who made fun of him on their student run internet chatroom, "facebook."

At the assembly in King Phillip's High School auditorium, State Senator Brown called each student out, one by one, using curse words that every mother would be horrified to hear and would've covered their children's ears if they were there.  Above the protests of all the teachers who were aghast at the state Senator's anti-social behavior and foul language, Brown refused to stop his child-like tirade calling each student out one by one in great pleasure.

If this man thinks he should be entitled to the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate just because there are only a few GOP contenders out there, then how can a man with such thin skin be able to defeat John Kerry whose skin is thin and cold-blooded already.  What make's Brown think he can represent Massachusetts as United States Senator when it's obvious he can't even handle a few teenagers teasing him.

Please read more of " Scott Brown's meltdown at the Freak Show:"

  • Wonkette whacks Brown
"...While picking on the dude’s daughter is not very nice, we have no compunctions about pointing out the fact that Brown won some kind of “Hunkiest He-Hunk” contest in Cosmo in 1982, which resulted in the photo spread you see above..."
  • Sun Chronicle Editorial
"...The high road became the low road during a high school assembly last week in Wrentham and, because of that, an important appeal to civility has been muddied.  Sen. Scott Brown, R-Wrentham, alas, became what he was condemning..."
  • BlueMass Scoop on Brown
"...It's hard to figure what mischievous sprite temporarily possessed Senator Brown and warped his Republican mind into thinking that it was OK to use profanity in a school, in front of a bunch of sophomores, most of whom probably had nothing to do with the incident that got him all worked up...."

A. What is he doing with his left hand?

b. Why doesn't he just blame his freakout on "a bad reaction to medication" and check into rehab?

I would have kicked him right in the balls if he tried that with one of my students.

If you read the news articles, that's not how it really went down. Brown read the comment written by two students, not everyone. And he wasn't out of control, he was just trying to show a different view of the debate.
If you ask me I think those kids deserved to be called out. They need to be held accountable for their actions. High school kids always want to be "treated like adults" but they can't accept responsibility for their own words. It's better to learn this lesson now than when their older.
Brown wasn't trying to hurt anyone's feelings; he was just making a point about hate speech. The kids were dishing out their own hate speech against Brown while trying to say that people should be tolerant of all lifestyles? You can't have it both ways. You need to be tolerant of everyone, even those who don't share your view.

Read these articles that aren't completly biased against him, unlike the one's post above:

Biased? Who's biased? In his interview with Cosmo Magazine, this thin skinned and vain state Senator Brown admitted that he likes to check out the bodies of men whenever he goes to the beach, and now he claims to be against gay marriage? Either he's a bigot or he's living in the closet and subconsciously wants to come out. Either way, when he had his meltdown and started cursing at those children, he could have handled it like a senator should, not like another child. So as Scott Brown likes to say, "You know you are, but what am I?"

Perhaps you all should get your facts straight...senator Brown was reading "Actual" comments that were written from a blog by those students. He did not pull the "profanity" out of thin air. Perhaps these parents that were so SHOCKED should maybe check on their own little angels who hide behind screen names to bully people online...kudos to a politician that exposed these cyber bullies w/o making up excuses & or candy coating the siruation. Sen. Brown did apologize to the other parents and students that had nothing to do w/ the situation. How can anyone Rep. or Dem. even have an honest view od any candidate when they act like children themselves playing the blame game, lying, etc. These people are examples to all of us & I would be proud to have a political figure like Sen.Brown representing my state/country. He goes to the source and not hide behind excuses. Am I a republican, no. But, I vote for those who are strong & not mere puppets of their party and have a mind of their own. Good for you Sen. Brown! You're a public figure I would vote for! to bad I'm in Maine!

BTW for all of you who seem to have nothing better to do than to dig up some magazine article that was 25 years ago, why don't you all find something worth whining about....at least he paid for his education and made himself what he is by himself and had the added benefit of his sister sending in the photo...like I said, perhaps you all should research the facts before throwing the stones....
