Popular Ptown bar shut down after sewerage leak discovered
PROVINCETOWN
- The popular Atlantic House Bar in Provincetown was closed down by the town early last week after a sewerage problem was detected. The club was in the process of installing a sprinkler system as required by laws enacted after the RI club fire when a town water employee discovered the problem. Provincetown installed its sewer system in 2003 but the Atlantic House was among those properties given a temporary waiver or "red dot" because they had already invested in costly so called "Title V" systems. The town says the club will be closed until they hook up to the system. Club owners have not said how long they expect that to be but a sign on the window says the club is closed for the holiday weekend for renovations.

Maybe they can all gather here everynight when pufferbellies closes, that way they would be closer to assistance after the inevitable stabbings...and some people wonder why two towns had to come up with curfews

I can't believe this story.

This is a great shock and terrible tragedy because I knew of this woman's work and fine reputation while employed at MAH. She comes from a prominent medical community and has worked very hard to get to the top. Her dad was also a highly regarded physician in his field. She began a practice in Hyannis that was so much in demand she couldn't take new patients.

A man should never lay a hand on a woman, ever. This probably wasn't the first time either. I wonder what else was going on that prompted all of this tragedy. Let's see, he was a builder/fisherman. Story I heard, he was the one who wanted to move to the Cape. And to top it off, she's going to have to face Barnstable Court! Good Grief......hope she's got the best lawyer money can buy....even that may not help her.
