The latest local police and fire newsBrewster gas line severed...again
BREWSTER - Six days after a construction crew hit a gas line in Brewster on Long Pond Road, the same line was hit by a Verizon worker today around 10 AM.Brewster firefighters and Police responded to the scene and shut down some of the roads in the area of Millstone Rd. and Rt.137 (Long Pond Rd).
Keyspan was notified and shut the gas off approximately 30 minutes later. No injuries were reported.
