Media Watch
This is a journal of media matters for Cape Cod. It is dedicated to the memory of Justice William Brennan who said, "It is from the First Amendment that all our other Liberties flow."Largest family-owned real estate company in the Northeast providing a wealth of information for buyers or sellers with detailed searches and open houses, market statistics and graphs, community and school information, and newsletters. (Orleans)
Nurturing and challenging children and their families on Cape Cod since 1980. A licensed private school providing programs that support, endorse and strengthen each family's teaching. Preschool & afternoon programs for students grades 1-4. (Brewster)
Kennedy on the Town
It's time again for Senator Kennedy's annual visit to the people. The Boston Pops concert on the Hyannis Town Green this evening is the perfect opportunity to be seen with his local constituents. Problem is that it costs $150 to get inside the fence that keeps, well, the people from the man.
In honor of his annual visit , we were treated to the Senator's "views" on the windfarm again in this morning's paper. Or should I say, he lent his name to the an Alliance piece on Cape Wind. (Nantucket Sound is a National Treasure) No facts, just opinion.
I guess he needed to show the swells sitting with him in the Orchestra session that he's still their champion even though he's lost the battle.
Well, thanks Senator for both treats. We really won't get to see you at the concert and we really didn't read anything new in the Cape Cod Times today.
By the way, you think it was a coincidence that his piece ran in today's paper of all days? Thanks Peter (Meyer). Just wondering if Rupert (Murdoch), has a policy about crossing the line between personal and editorial.

Can I get a hell yeah to Audra Parker putting on a bra?! Her nippleage was aesthetically not pleasing.

About This Blog
Up-starts, up-smarts, other cranks &
dilettantes adorn a media scene once renown for excellence, so this journal
will attempt to point out the more obvious foibles and triumphs of the local press to our
gentle readers and fellow Cape Codders.

This could get very interesting.
