While writer's block lingers on, I post this lone flock of comment ...

I have a soft spot for the former 9th planet. You see, Pluto's plight is much like our own. We drift through the cosmic void of space in search of meaning. Every new day provides new discoveries. We are constantly growing, learning, understanding more and more of the world around us. Then, suddenly, we are "discovered." We achieve some level of greatness, we are in our prime -- a planet on an equal footing with the likes of Jupiter and Saturn.

After a time, though, we plateau, and then we enter a period of decline. Eventually, we are cast aside as something insignificant - a measly "dwarf" world. Yet, throughout all these phases from growth to decline it is our continuing quest for relevance that sustains us, that causes us to continue to push forward toward new horizons. God bless all the Plutos out there who continue to play a vital role in this universe ... despite the odds!  08/03/07 @ 11:21 pm

PS: Saw a telephone pole today with two small posters tacked to it. One read: "Lost  - gray and white cat." The other one read: "Found - gray and white cat." Why can't all issues in life be this simple!

PPS: Trying to flesh out a possible blog on biblical foods that Jesus and his disciples might have ordered at some of the more popular eateries in His day, like Dead Sea Scones, Sinai Souffle, Shrimp of Turin, Galilean Galantine, etc, but it just isn't coming together the way I'd like.

PPPS: Hey, ya know, this Jerusalem Jambalaya isn't bad ... yum!
