A two-car crash closes Iyanough Road in Hyannis Saturday
HYANNIS - At about 2:30 p.m. Saturday Hyannis Rescue and three Barnstable Police units responded to a two-car motor vechicle accident on Route 28 at the entrance to Pufferbellies and Amerigas. The green car in the photo t-boned the white car which wound up on the grass by the Pufferbellies sign.
One victim was transported to CCH with a reported chest injury. The Hyannis Rescue crew on scene called for an engine for wash down because the liquids from the green car were leaking out and flowing 30 feet to a storm drain.
One lane had to blocked until the wrecks were removed and the wash down occurred.
