Clinton wins Massachusetts, California and New York
Senator Kennedy loses face after backing Obama, no clear Dem winner nationally

The winners yesterday were McCain, Huckabee, Clinton and Obama
Clinton 56%, Obama 41% in Bay State, Romney takes home state

"It looks like the half century reign of Camelot has ended in Mass."Despite endorsements by Senators Kennedy, Kerry and Governor Patrick, Barack Obama lost the Bay State to Hillary Clinton last night.
McCain a clear winner; Democrats race still too tight to call nationally, Camelot closes
The big losers yesterday were Romney and Kennedy, latterday friends in their home state. The big winners here were the younger Democratic pols who mostly backed Clinton and Beacon Hill which did the same. One local Cape pundit said, "it likes like the half century reign of Camelot has ended in Massachusetts."
John McCain tightened his grip yesterday on the Republican presidential nomination while Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama battled into the early hours today in their 22-state Super Tuesday showdown and it looks like they'ree be battling right into the convention.
The only real surprise yesterday was Huckabee's strength, winning five states and blocking Romney's bid for the White House. The polls can't yet predict racial or gender bias outside the polling booth. The exit polls in the south seem to indicate whaite males prefer a black American over a woman.
Cynthia Stead keeps GOP Committeewoman seat
Cynthia Stead, longtime GOP stalwart shown on right, won by 43% to 37% over newcomer Renee Sherwood. The hotly contested battle pitted the local Republican old guard against the incimbent who they apparently couldn't control. She won 6,922 to 5,990.
Romney wins Massachusetts. See complete Bay State results here.
McCain wins in Conn., Illinois and New Jersey. See all delegate numbers here.
